Community Engagement Consulting
Are you interested in better serving your community? Is your organization or church struggling to connect with the people its trying to serve? Community engagement offers a way to get to know your neighbors, build relationships, and strengthen existing partnerships and build new ones in order to work collaboratively towards creative community change.
My work as a community engagement consultant involves working alongside individuals and organizations in order to strengthen their capacity to engage in community work. Relationship, respect, reciprocity and research provide the foundation for this work, and extensive experience engaging in different types of community-based initiatives and research projects offers a unique approach that crosses disciplinary boundaries and settings. My arts background provides additional insight and creative approaches to the community building process. I've developed an evaluation model in the course of working with interfaith and arts-based community initiatives that is flexible and applicable to many settings including community programming, alternative church plants, interfaith initiatives, and more.
